But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. – Joshua 22:5
Today my friend, let’s set the intention to love God with all that we are, with all that we have and with all that we do. What does it mean to love God with our heart, mind and soul? In a sense it means to give ourselves totally to God. We consecrate our feelings, our thinking and our unconscious activity to God. When we love God, we love God’s creation. When we think, we only entertain the thoughts that are worthy of God. When we consider who we are, we take on the identity of God’s “seed” planted in human form and growing into physical and spiritual expression. Today my friend, let’s feel God in our heart, think God in our mind and experience being with God and being godlike in our soul.
Let Us Pray:
Dear Lord, I thank You for the wonder and mystery of Your Love. Today, my desire is to fully receive Your Love, to experience It in all of Its beauty, compassion, energy and power and then to return It to You as my appreciation for all You have created, the perfection of nature, the wonder of humanity and the mystery that I am. As I love You Lord, I am learning who I am and I experience You as Life-Unfolding. I learn and follow Your commandments, I spend time with You in prayerful communion and I make myself available to Your guidance as I play my role in Your Will being done on earth. Your Love for me and my love for You is like the mutually beneficial breathing of plants and animals. Dear Lord, thank You for the Energy of Unconditional Love; I eagerly receive It and in return, I give forth my freewill love offering of compassion, appreciation, sanctified action, praise and thanksgiving. I immerse myself in Pure Being. I consecrate my time, my treasure and my activity as expressions of my love for You. Today I give my all to You.
Thank You God! I Praise You God! Selah! Amen!
…and you shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. – Deuteronomy 6:5
