Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. – Matthew 18:22
It is easy to be at rest when the sun is shining. When the clouds begin to roll in and darken the day, I need my inner sense of calm to take over my emotions. Instead of waiting until I am in the middle of a storm to desperately search for serenity, I actively engage in harmony on a daily basis. I allow the power and wisdom of God within me to guide me into a daily forgiveness practice which keeps me “prayed up” and centered in the peace of Christ within me. I enter into the Peace of God which surpasses all human understanding and I am able to make decisions from a powerful place of Love within me which always produce peace, prosperity or new possibilities. When anger brews within me due to an injustice, painful memories or embarrassment, peace is like a soft blanket covering me. I breathe deeply and allow tranquility to overtake me.
Let us pray:
“Dear Lord, my Guide to peace within and around me; breathe the breath of peace into my mind and body now. Relax my body, ease the tension in my muscles and still the restlessness in my mind. Let Your Peace pass through me now, so that I might hear Your voice more clearly and consider Your Guidance as my best way to peace and a new experience of Love. Thank You Lord for this opportunity to expand my capacity to Love, I have given my best effort to find peace and I now realize that I need to surrender to Your Holy Presence within me. I know what I want, I want Peace instead of conflict, I want Love instead of resentment, I want connection instead of separation and I surrender the details of having what I want to You Lord. I hear Your words, “Peace Be Still” and I believe that storm around me and the discord within me will cease and I will experience Your Peace which defies all explanation.
Thank You God! I am now at Peace! Selah! Amen!
…he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. – Mark 4:39
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:7
