I Surrender My Decisions to God

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears; – Isa 11:3

How do you make decisions? Do you favor the disciplined process of analysis? Are you more inclined to search your feelings and follow your intuition? Perhaps you make decisions by using a combination of reason, analysis and intuition. As Spiritual Beings having human experiences, it seems appropriate to employ the gifts of Spirit and the faculties of Mind to decide wisely or judge righteously. When we decide or choose wrongly, we often experience consequences that are at the least unpleasant and sometimes may be harmful to ourselves or others. It is in these cases that we learn through the stern teachings of experience. However, as we grow in experience and wisdom our choices and decisions can become works of art, elegant demonstrations of all things working together for Good. We develop this level of decision making by engaging the best of our humanness in support of the expression of our spiritual nature. After all of your best thinking and analysis, practice trusting and surrendering to the presence, power and peace of Christ within you as the key to your decision making process.

Let Us Pray:

“Thank You God for righteous judgment. As I go through this day Lord, bless me with peace and transcendent understanding. Make me an instrument of Your Wisdom. Give me the power of active listening so that I can hear You speaking in between the words of the people who interact with me. Bless me with a peaceful presence so that I may speak with love and respect and quiet my human impatience and restlessness so that I can hear Your guidance and make the decisions and choices which accomplish the highest Good for all concerned. Thank You God! I Understand! I am Complete! Amen!”

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. – Proverbs 3:5

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:7

October Prosperity Prayer 2008

And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. – Mark 10:27

Thank You God for this month of possibilities! Although we may face trial and tribulation or we may not know how we shall be fed nor where we shall find shelter; we fear not because You are with us. Your Love is abundant, Your Grace surrounds us. We now surrender our vain hopes, our petty knowing and we rest in Your peace, power, prosperity and possibility.  We humble ourselves before You and ask that You reveal Yourself to us and as we perceive Your revelation, teach us to accept Your Will and equip us to bless each other and thereby bless ourselves. Make us Your instruments in the establishment of Your Kingdom in the consciousness of humanity. We are thankful for Your generosity and we thank You for your tangible and intangible blessings. We give presence to Your Peace. We express Your kindness and Grace to one another.  Guided by Your spirit and energy of Creation, we come together in wisdom and unity creating a world which works for everyone. Thank You God! So Mote it be! Amen!

But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as at this day. – Deuteronomy 8:18
