A Prayerful Thought for Today

I Keep My Love Circulating and Creating Blessings for Others and for Me

\”This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you”. – John 15:12

How will you serve God today? Will you serve God with good works, gifts to the poor, eloquent words or profound teachings? If what you do is not done in love, you will have accomplished nothing. God is Love, therefore let us serve God today as though we were serving a nourishing meal to a hungry person. Woven into the fabric of our being is the need to love and to be loved. Freely give your love as thoughts of well being, words of encouragement, comfort and peace. Keep your love circulating through acts of kindness, healing and uplifting prayers. Be patient, understanding and helpful to those who come into your thoughts and your presence today. Love and bless everyone of whom you are conscious, even your enemies or those with whom you are at odds. Restore love to your relationships through forgiveness. Today let our first intention be to keep our love circulating by loving each other, even as Jesus loves us.

Let Us Pray:

Dear God, You are Love Itself, allow me to experience a new profound relationship with You today by showing me how to love my neighbor as I love myself and show me how to love myself as You love me, with pure, unconditional Love. My intention for the rest of this day Lord is to love with all of my heart, all of my mind and all of my soul. Give me the courage, the wisdom and the opportunity to love and to be loved today, Father. I am happiest when I am conscious of Love. Therefore I choose love at every decision point I encounter today. Thank You for creating me in Your image as a loving being, capable of giving and receiving love.

June Prosperity Prayer 2008

But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which dwells righteousness. – 2 Peter 3:13

Thank You God for this month of retrospection, contemplation and future creation. We set an intention at the beginning of this year to create new possibilities of prosperity and well-being in Your Name, Father. We now stop to look back and assess our integrity to Your Will. Forgive us for our transgressions and for those times we lacked integrity. This month we set the intention to restore our integrity to Your Will. We forgive those who, in our perception, did not keep their word to us or otherwise transgressed against us. We are forgiven in our forgiving. Thank You God for Your mercies and Your Grace. Thank You for supporting us and teaching us as we endeavor to be Your obedient children, using our divine inheritance wisely. We are grateful for Your inspirations and blessings throughout this year. We intend to continue in Your Truth and Your direction. We reaffirm our intention to tithe of our time, our talents and our material possessions. And now in this holy moment we surrender to Your Presence and Power within us and allow the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit to inspire our thinking, speaking and acting as we move forward in the blessings of the new heaven and new earth we envisioned at the beginning of this year.
