My Prayer for Wisdom and Understanding

God’s Wisdom, present and active within me assures my temperance, right action and proper choices 

Dearest Father/Mother God, I surrender to the peace and gentleness of Your Wisdom. I come to You as an admiring and loving child asking for guidance and understanding.  I know Your Will for me is a life founded in Truth and characterized by Love. Thank You for loving me and all humanity, so much that You remain present within us and constantly available to us, answering calls for wisdom and guidance with pure Love and Wisdom.  Today, purify my heart and clear my mind that I might confidently discern Your guidance and act boldly in Your Name.

A Lenten Forgiveness Prayer

Through The Spirit of Christ within Me, I Call Forth the Power to Forgive.

Today I start my day with Love. Through love I compassionately align myself with the power of Divine Law, the process by which God manifests. Charles Fillmore, the co-founder of Unity taught that the inner spirit of the law is the spiritual way of life that Jesus lived and taught. My intention for this day is to experience the spiritual essence of Jesus’ way of living. The inner stirring of Divine Law is the mental and emotional energy that gives voice to what we call conscience, our sense of right and wrong. I use the prompting of my conscience to help me align myself with the unstoppable and uplifting power of the law today. God’s wisdom, present within me, guides my use of love and forgiveness to assess myself and others. I now forgive all the sin or mistakes I find in my thoughts and feelings about myself and other people. God guides me in this forgiveness process allowing me to intuitively know that the law can not uplift me in the absence of love. Without love the law occurs as a stern, if not cruel teacher. However, through the power of Love drawn from God within me, I repent by acknowledging my errors and asking for forgiveness. And likewise I bestow the blessing of forgiveness upon those who would otherwise remain trespassers in my mind and in my heart. I am now blessed with the experience of the law occurring as a wise and nurturing parent.

Thank You God for this day, begun in love and sustained with prayer! Today I give up my harsh thoughts and judgments of myself and others. I am experiencing a miraculous day of healing, harmony and transformation. With a forgiving heart and mind, I am aware of God’s continuing presence and activity in my life and I experience myself as a blessing to everyone and in every circumstance within my field of influence today. Thank You God for lifting me up into Your spiritual realm of transcendent Love!

I am complete!

Wima’s Prayer of Illumination

Let us pray,

Lord, I pray for an intelligent approach to my problems.  I also pray
for spiritual insight, intuition, and understanding that lifts me
above my problems.

Lord, I pray for the ability to see my way. May I understand Your divine
plan for my life.  I pray that Your light illuminates and shines through
me. Show me Your higher way with clarity.
 
Lord, I pray for success in my efforts, for physical well-being, and for
harmonious relations with others. I pray also for that something more which
only You can give – an inner revelation of Truth and Spiritual quickening.

Lord, I pray that you will give me Divine ideas and increase my human
capacity for understanding.  Grant me wisdom, compassion, temperance,
harmony, tolerance and patience.  May I not take offense at other’s behavior
and make me always willing to forgive.  Keep me mindful of Your word -”vengence
is Mine, I shall repay.”

Lord, I pray that my life will be constructive, productive, and
worthwhile.  I pray also that my life reflects Your Spirit, that it glows with
Your love. May I wholly dedicate this life to Your truth and remain in tune
with Your marvelous will.

February Prosperity Prayer

He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love. – 1 John 4:8

Dear God, thank You for this month! Today I set the intention to become a citizen of Your Kingdom of Love. Even if just for this month, let me live in the warmth and joy of the Love, which You are. I immerse myself in loving kindness. I express it freely and joyfully receive it. I give my full attention to those I love and I pray and act to bring forth their highest Good. Where love is missing in my experience, bless me with the willingness and the ability to forgive so that I can restore love in my life as soon as possible. Transform those in my life who appear as enemies or adversaries, to agents of Your Wisdom and Truth. Your Love expressed as the Holy Spirit active within me, transforms all appearances, people and circumstances into glorious examples of all things working together for good. Dear Lord, I am humble before You and the power of the Love, which You are. Show me how to love myself as You Love me. By Your guidance, my actions bring forth my highest Good and the highest Good of all. I honor, love, respect and appreciate everyone in my life with the same fervor and energy that I love myself. Thank You God for showing me how to love wisely, purely and steadfastly. As my heart fills with joy, I boldly proclaim that I love Life and I love You for You are my Life and all is well.
