I Surrender the Details of My Forgiveness Practice to God!

August 21st, 2010

Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. – Matthew 18:22

It is easy to be at rest when the sun is shining. When the clouds begin to roll in and darken the day, I need my inner sense of calm to take over my emotions. Instead of waiting until I am in the middle of a storm to desperately search for serenity, I actively engage in harmony on a daily basis. I allow the power and wisdom of God within me to guide me into a daily forgiveness practice which keeps me “prayed up” and centered in the peace of Christ within me. I enter into the Peace of God which surpasses all human understanding and I am able to make decisions from a powerful place of Love within me which always produce peace, prosperity or new possibilities. When anger brews within me due to an injustice, painful memories or embarrassment, peace is like a soft blanket covering me. I breathe deeply and allow tranquility to overtake me.

Let us pray:

“Dear Lord, my Guide to peace within and around me; breathe the breath of peace into my mind and body now. Relax my body, ease the tension in my muscles and still the restlessness in my mind. Let Your Peace pass through me now, so that I might hear Your voice more clearly and consider Your Guidance as my best way to peace and a new experience of Love. Thank You Lord for this opportunity to expand my capacity to Love, I have given my best effort to find peace and I now realize that I need to surrender to Your Holy Presence within me. I know what I want, I want Peace instead of conflict, I want Love instead of resentment, I want connection instead of separation and I surrender the details of having what I want to You Lord. I hear Your words, “Peace Be Still” and I believe that storm around me and the discord within me will cease and I will experience Your Peace which defies all explanation.

Thank You God! I am now at Peace! Selah! Amen!

…he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. – Mark 4:39
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:7

I Am A Conscious Member of the Human Family

August 19th, 2010

Thank You God for this day. I am Your grateful son and I rejoice in this day of joyful service. I love You, I adore You and I want to be just like You when I “grow up”. I am growing into spiritual maturity, power and a perfect expression of Love. Jesus is my ‘Elder Brother’ and He is guiding me along my way. Dear Lord, we have an awesome family; every one of us has a striking family resemblance to You. Bless us today with wisdom and a perfect memory of our Divine Origin. Give me the courage, skill and resolve to seek, find and bring home my brothers and sisters who ran away or just got lost. Give me the compassionate wisdom to assist and appreciate my brothers and sisters who stay home with You in faithful service. Thank You for my other brothers and sisters who, like me, eagerly go out into the world in Your Name, joyfully carrying out your business of love, creation and other explorations of Being.

Thank You God!

I Praise You Lord!

All Is Well!

Selah!

Amen!

Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; – Proverbs 3:9

Our Father, provider of every good and perfect gift, we thank You. Thank You for blessing us with material and non-material provision. We rejoice in good health and Your healing power invested in our body. We sing Your praises in our deliverance from the mistakes of our thinking and the folly of our misdirected activity. Thank You for the evidence of things not seen and the ability to discern the substance of things for which we hope. This month, we turn our attention to Your presence within us and surrender to Your indwelling wisdom and love. We acknowledge You as the only Cause of our prosperity and the activity of the Holy Spirit as the only Activity in our financial affairs. We dedicate ourselves to emulate Your generosity and unconditional love and offer ourselves as clear and open channels of Your abundance and wealth. Thank You God, for blessing us with wealth, influence, compassion and grace. We now dedicate ourselves to the honorable and righteous use of Your blessings, always remembering that it is You Who has given us the power to get wealth. We give and receive with joy and gratitude and serve You faithfully as channels of Love and Prosperity.
Thank You God!
So It Is!
Amen!
But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today. – Deuteronomy 8:18

July Prosperity Prayer 2010

July 3rd, 2010

I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts. – Psalms 119:45

Dear Lord, in this holy moment I am energized and creative. I am creating a state of being anchored in Freedom. Expand my understanding of Truth and Its power to make me free. Father, thank You for the freedom which allows me to adapt to the dynamics of Life while I maintain clarity, focus and mindfulness of Your unchanging, Universal Law. Lord, I thank You as I contemplate Freedom this month, thank you for my country, my community and my family of origin all of which contribute to my quality of my life, liberty and my pursuit of happiness. I appreciate the ideals of freedom upon which my country is founded and I am mindful of Your Truth as Freedom that resides within me, a freedom that transcends human law. It is my freedom to act in accordance with Divine Law. I always have the freedom to choose how I am living and throughout this month, I choose to live in the possibility of Freedom. This month I appreciate that I am free from limitation and self-tyranny and I choose to live a life that creates freedom and well being for everyone within my sphere of influence. Father, help me to deepen my understanding of the Truth of Christ and be made truly free.

Thank You God! So It Is! Amen!

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. – John 8:32

Prayer for Accepting Changed Circumstances by Horace Robinson

June 28th, 2010

Serenity Prayer
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

In 1890 in the Indian Reservations in the Western US there was born a new religion called the Ghost Dance. Most social scientists believe this religion was born out of the stress of the loss of a way of life, and the loss of so many people to war and disease.

This religion taught that the Earth would be made new, covered with new soil, sweet grass, running water and trees; the great herds of buffalo and wild horses would return, along with the ghosts of their ancestors. Only Indians would live then, as all others would be destroyed in the making of the new Earth. In other words, the “good old days” would return all they had to do was dance the Ghost Dance, and sing the Ghost Dance Songs. The pull of the “Good Old Days” often blocks God’s plan for an even better future.

Whether it is the loss of a loved one, the loss of the shoe industry in New England, Textile making in the South or the Auto Industry in Detroit we all go through a version of the Ghost Dance.

We pine away for the departed loved one, sometimes to the point of making ourselves sick unto dying. After the decimation of a generation in the Great War (WWI) Europe went into a period of spiritualism where talking to their departed sons was all the rage. We sit around cooking up and sometimes implementing schemes to bring back the lost industry. This is a natural response to changed circumstances. If the circumstances can be reversed, and is worth reversing then by all means summon the courage to do it.

But when faced with a permanent, irreversible change, well, as WC Fields once said, there comes a time, “to grab the Bull by the tail and face the situation.” No matter how well you dance the Ghost Dance, the Buffalo aren’t coming back. The “Good Old Days” are gone, and are only a sweet memory now.

So, put the Buffalo Gun in museum, and go out and build a Casino. The quicker you do this the faster your life will be what you want and God intended.

Prayer for Accepting Changed Circumstances

Father-Mother God,
Things have changed. I didn’t want them to change, I didn’t ask for this change, I really don’t like this change, I can’t reverse this change, all I can do is accept this change.

In my mind I know that I should serenely accept this change. Fighting the inevitable is a waste of time, talent, and treasure. So I have made up my mind, I will accept this change.

My heart says, “Not so fast, oh logical one!!!” I know that the “Good Old Days” will return, the buffalo will come back, you just misplaced them somewhere.

My mind knows that this is ridiculous, but my heart won’t accept it.

Father-Mother God, You can change my heart, you can open my heart to the idea that the new reality is full of possibilities that the old one never had. Let my heart know that the “Good Old Days” are gone, but the “Good Old God” is still in charge, and prosperity and Grace are still to be had.

In the name and nature of Jesus the Christ we say Amen, and Amen.

June Prosperity Prayer 2010

June 28th, 2010

When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is
near. –Luke 21:30

This month we will pass the half way point of the year, celebrate Father’s Day and mark the beginning of summer. June is typically a very active month and therefore an excellent opportunity to practice intentional mindfulness. As we begin the month, let’s set the intention to regularly take time to reflect upon the unfolding of the year, meditate on our current state of being and contemplate where we want to be at year’s end. Are you willing to spend an hour per week this month being mindful of your intentions, your state of being and the direction in which you are going this year? Decide now if you will take an hour all at once each week or spend a little less than 10 minutes a day practicing mindfulness.

Let Us Pray:

Dear Lord, I stop to pray relaxed in body, mind and spirit. In this exquisite state of relaxation, I become still and aware of the Truth of my Being. I prepare for enriching and fulfilling activity by first sowing the seeds of success in the stillness of mindful consciousness. Thank You God for my graduation into a new phase of my life’s journey and the second half of this year; I thank You Father for Fathering me and blessing all of Your children with perfect gifts from above, perfectly fashioned for each of us according to our individual needs and desires. During this time of prayer, I feel energized, strengthened and equipped to fully participate in this month’s heightened activities. Thank You God!

This month I joyfully and energetically celebrate Life.

Praise God! So It Is! Amen!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things -Philippians 4:8

I am generous and I am prosperous. Through Your generosity, I give to the world of Living Energy surrounding me. I am awe struck by the wonder and beauty in this world and I resolve to do my best to bring it forth into the plain sight of my brothers and sisters with whom I live, breath and give expression to Your Holy Presence.
Thank You God!
So It Is!
Amen!
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. – 1Chronicles 16:34

A Prayer for Personal Transformation

May 11th, 2010

Thank You God for this day. Thank You for all of my blessings Lord; I am grateful for my life as it is unfolding now. I am not satisfied with myself right now. I am OK but I would prefer to be extraordinary. Help me to accept myself, give my best in Your service and to enjoy life and who I am being. Help me to muster courage, overcome feelings that would keep me from being my Best Self. I want to structure my time to exercise daily, eat a healthy diet, meditate, pray and study to improve myself daily and have super relationships. Thank You God for hearing and granting this prayer. I accept Your blessings and commit to being Your agent and instrument for blessing others.
Thank You God!
So It Is!

May 2010 Prayer

May 2nd, 2010

If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! Psalms 139:8

This month the Lord is a continuously flowing stream of refreshing inspiration flowing through my soul. My mind and my body are renewed and strengthened daily. My first impulse each morning is to praise God for the sparkling vitality I am feeling. Praise God for abundant Life! Praise God for enriching relationships! I praise God for the delicious experience of discovering my Creator everywhere I go!

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalms 63:1

April Prosperity Prayer 2010

April 7th, 2010

You were wearied by all your ways, but you would not say, `It is hopeless.’ You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint. – Isaiah 57:10

As we move forward through this month, let us declare it as a time of renewal, rebirth and transformation. Let us give thanks for the renewing rains which saturate the earth with water which calls forth new life from the seed of plants and animals alike. In this consciousness of awe-filled gratitude, let us envision a new consciousness of Love, Beauty and Possibility. We surrender to the activity of Christ within us to inform our wisdom, deepen our love, strengthen our bodies and manifest our unique purpose in God’s Creation. Through Christ we know that with God all things are possible and this month we establish new possibilities of beauty and prosperity which are ours to cultivate and harvest.

Let Us Pray:
Dearest Father, Fountainhead of Living Waters, I now humbly and gratefully drink the refreshment of Eternal Life and rededicate myself to the work You sent me to do. I am renewed. I am refreshed. I thank You Father for Christ in me, my Strength, my Wisdom and my unfailing Resource. Plant the seeds of Your Desire in my heart Lord and let the fruits of Your Desire be sweet to the taste, strengthening to the body and clarifying for the mind. Make me an instrument of Your Love and use me in the establishment of the coming of Your Kingdom in the consciousness of humanity.

Thank You God!
I am now experiencing Abundant Life flowing to and through me!
So It Is!
Amen!

…then I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil. – Deuteronomy 11:14
but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. – John 4:14
